Connecting with the program is free, with additional free or affordable events held frequently throughout eastern Connecticut. By signing up you’ll receive our newsletter and information about upcoming events, deals, and more. We won’t bombard your inbox, we promise!
While the goal of Community Concierge is to help newcomers get acclimated to life in eastern CT, we welcome any longtime locals who wish to participate, there is always something new to experience!
It is an initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT, the region’s oldest and largest collaborative of business and community leaders.

2. Utilize our resources
Moving to a new area is never easy but we’ve got the resources to make the transition a little easier. Peruse our Relocation Guide, search our local business directory, and visit our Facebook page to connect with local businesses and community members.
Feel free to utilize Chamber employees for their wealth of local knowledge simply by sending an email to info@chamberect.com, calling 860-701-9113, or come to a Community Concierge event.
3. Attend our events
Explore your neighborhood through our events at destinations throughout the region. Connect with like-minded program participants who share your interests with our diverse hands-on programs.
Keep an eye on our events calendar for the most up to date information. Group outings, such as our Let’s Go Local series, encourage the community to join in, turning new neighbors into new friends. “Connection” events are exclusive to program participants.
Some past events include: Beer tasting and brewery tour at Outer Light Brewing; Yoga class at Hot on Bank; Baking class at Coogan Farm’s community kitchen; and casual Connection events at the Thames Club in New London, and Hard Rock Café at Foxwoods.
